The week after – PART II

PART I – PART II

Flipping through her wedding album the new Mrs. Khanna has been reminiscing about her enthralling wedding, let’s continue to have a look at her gorgeous experience of being a glamorous bride…

The cocktail had me absolutely looking ravishing in a delicately designed haardik diamond tanmaniya set teamed with a beautiful blue lehenga to create that perfect look. Came the d-day and all I had to do was dress up and the beautiful red saree brought out the beauty in me but could not be complete without the kinnari choker which looked as if it was designed for my neck only. Being the center of attraction was not only me but my jewellery too as it was an exquisitely designed piece. On my hands were delicate thin kanas bangles with antique kadas to finish the look. My forehead adorned with a beautiful kundan mang teeka while a nose ring of gold and diamond to complete the look.

Oh, but my favourite had to be the reception where I wore a lehenga in a light pink colour with diamonds. A ramya set so intricately designed that wearing it I felt myself glow as bright as the diamonds in it. Each and every moment comes back to me with the happiness and tears that I was a little girl had always dreamt about. Bringing tears to my eyes I remember the moist eyes of my dad and the crying of my mom wearing a beautiful ethnic cluster set diamond around her neck to bid me farewell as I leave my childhood house and days to move on to the new life holding the hand of the husband my parents chose for me.

Oh, wait she’s not done yet, want to know what Mrs. Khanna wore for the first day in her new home and what life looks here on, tune in (Day/week) and live the everyday life of Mrs. Khanna in her words, with her experiences….
